Shokugeki no Soma : San no Sara Episode 1 In Depth Review

The Review
The Battle With Totsuki's Elite Ten Begins!
Shokugeki no Soma has always been one of my favorite anime series , the unparalleled story , characters , animation makes it more interesting and fun to watch . The First episode of Food Wars ! The Third Plate starts with a flashback of the 2nd OVA(if you haven't watched the 2nd OVA then here's what happened - Soma and others who made to the main autumn selection tournament got to meet the Current Elite 10 members of Totsuki and without wasting any time soma challenges them).
Soma and Megumi remembering about their meeting with the elite ten and Soma's challenge. Kuga Terunori the 8th Seat holder tells Soma that he will accept his challenge if he is better than him in any aspect in terms of cooking.
Soma learns about the Moon festival of Totsuki in which the students including the elite 10 open their food booths and compete as an individual or team .Without any second thought our bold protagonist Soma thinks of challenging Kuga at the Moon Festival .
Food Wars ! the third plate will cover the Moon Festival Arc , and mainly focus on the Relationship between Soma and Erina( it will also focus on Erina's past). Soma meets Erina in the campus where he apprises her about him joining the fight . As all of you know , that our bold protagonist does't think before acting , despite thinking of challenging Kuga at the Moon Festival he didn't had idea of which type of food he makes .
After that Megumi informs Soma about Kuga's Cuisine (i.e the Chinese Cuisine specialized in Sichuan region) . Megumi introduces Miyoko Hojo to Soma who further apprise him about the festival .
To get a clear understanding of the Festival Hojo takes Soma to Kuga's working place were Soma realizes how hard it is to beat Kuga .
The advertisement of Kuga's booth had already begun . Soma perceives that the battle had already begun .
Ishiki along with other Polar Star Dormitory members explain Soma about the locations where the booths were going to be made and other info's.
After Visiting Kuga's place with Hojo , Soma knew that if he didn't come up with some great idea then the battle is as good as lost.
While sitting beside Erina-Chan in the class room Soma thinks of a way of beating Kuga , by stealing his customers . And at last he submits his booth location which was just infront of the Kuga's booth.
Overall Food Wars ! The Third Plate had a satisfying start . If you haven't started watching the third season yet , then quit wasting time and get going .So, thats it for today. I will post the other reviews until then check out our other articles .
