Black Clover Episode-2 "The Boy's Promise" Review

So , without further ado lets continue to our episode 2 review-
The Review
A Promise to Keep
As the title depicts , Black Clover episode 2 is a back story which enlighten us about the relationship between Asta and Yuno and the promise that they made with each other long ago.
From childhood Asta was lousy and brave kid with bigger ambitions , while Yuno was more of a cry baby with no self confidence. In episode 2 we got to see how Asta and Yuno arrived to the decision of becoming "The Wizard King" . The Sister from the church tells Asta and Yuno about the Story of the Wizard King , how he fought off Evil and Saved the world . After listening to the story Asta decides to become the Wizard King , to protect everyone and provide a better life for his friends , the sister & the father from the church.
Black Clover episode 2 was divided into two parts one was, the relationship between Asta and Yuno and Second was the Promise they made when they were 5 years old . Moreover, the main center of episode 2 was the Promise made by Asta and Yuno . The father from the church entrusts Yuno to deliver an important letter to the mayor . Despite being afraid to go alone Yuno decides to complete the errand given by father . So, on the way to deliver the letter to the mayor a tearaway who was out of money and couldn't buy a liquor gets his eye on the pendant Yuno was wearing .
After delivering the letter to the mayor , Yuno makes his way back to the church in the cold and snowy night , the tearaway from before stops Yuno and takes the pendant by force , while he was beating and abusing Yuno , Asta arrives to the scene and tries to protect him .
Despite being seriously injured , Asta's stubbornness finally pays off the tearaway returns the pendant. Asta tells Yuno that he will protect everyone and become the Wizard King so that he can show everyone that even a poor orphan child can become the wizard king if he works hard .
Seeing Asta's dedication , Yuno promises to never cry and become strong ,to become the Wizard King and so they became each others rivals . This rivalry was the promise made by Asta and Yuno to each other.
So , this was how both our protagonist got a meaning to their life. This was how they became each others rival. Overall the series is going pretty well , It kind of reminds me of Naruto's series. If you haven't watched Black Clover anime yet , then go and watch it . I highly recommend it .
