Boruto:Naruto Next Generation Episode 16 Review

Boruto : Naruto Next Generation Episode 16 aired yesterday and with that I am here to Review the Episode 16 of Boruto .

The Episode 16 centers around Denki and Iwabe , the whole act of episode 16 was to show the growing relation between Denki and Iwabe . We also got to see Rock Lee for the first time in the Anime Series(excluding the movie). The first arc of Boruto ended with the end of ghost incidents , the ongoing episodes are just story fillers . The Next Arc "Seventh Hokage and The Scarlet Spring Arc" will begin from August . 

                                                         Episode 16 prioritizes on two aspects First is the Genin Exams and Second the Relation Between Denki and Iwabe. The Episode starts with Denki practicing for the exams . To pass the practical exams he had to master his chakra control to walk on vertical surfaces . 

This episode triggered some nostalgic moments , By seeing Denki Practice I remembered how Naurto and Sasuke challenged each other and trained in the Jungle all day to master their chakra control. 

So , as I told Denki practiced , but he wasn't successful , Boruto or others were also not able to help him . At the Same time Iwabe coudn't understand a single theory which were to be asked in the exams . Denki practiced for several hours but he didn't get anywhere with his training , though Metal tries to cheer him . He takes Denki to train with him , but still denki coudn't do a vertical walk or run . At that moment Rock Lee appears , I was glad to see that he was cheerful as always( As we didn't get to see much of Rock Lee in the Boruto Movie). He gives Denki a training attire and tells him not to loose hope . 

                                                     Seeing Denki's tenacity and dedication  Iwabe decides to help him , he tells Denki to stay calm and control his chakra near his feet , and it worked liked charm(Like Denki was waiting for Iwabe , to hint him ) . Denki was able to walk on the vertical surface .

                                                      During their return to home Denki asks Iwabe about his studies , Was is going well or not ? Iwabe tells him that it was going well . But Denki finds his results of the previous tests and decides to teach him as a thanks to his help on his training. Denki was able to help Iwabe with his studies ( I will not go in Depth ; I will keep the Spoilers at minimal ). 

During the day of Exam , on their way to the Academy , Iwabe and Denki see a building on fire with some children trapped . Iwabe runs to their rescue soon followed by Denki . While Denki uses his chakra control technique to climb the building, Iwabe uses his theoretical knowledge to fix the fuse box for the Sprinkler system of the Building . Both were able to save the children but they missed their exams . 

Without any regrets they went to the Academy and Filled Shino on everything about the events they had on their way to Academy . They were not afraid of failing , but Shino corrects their dilemma about the exams and tells them that they passed the exams . Shino tells them about the true meaning of being a shinobi and that Iwabe and Denki actions were of a shinobi and he was happy about their actions .With that the episode ended , the next episode " Run , Sarada " will center around Sarada Uchiha , I am looking forward to it , what about you ?
